"Coronado" depicts the view from the top of Coronado Heights, a true gem hiding in central Kansas. Legend has it that this hill is the spot where Coronado gave up his search for the seven cities of gold and decided to return to Mexico.  In my opinion, this view of wide open skies, golden grass, and spring-green wheat fields is worth more than the gold he was searching for. 

This original acrylic artwork was painted on an 8x10-inch canvas by Sisa Haritatos.  It is mounted inside a maple floater frame so the painted edges of the finished artwork can still be seen.  The frame measures 9.5x11.5 inches.  This calming artwork will arrive with a certificate of authenticity and ready to hang.
